This year’s Canyon Road Passport to the Arts takes place on May 9th, 10th and 11th. It is a very special public art event happening over Mother’s Day weekend.

Spring is blossoming in Santa Fe, and the awakening world welcomes us to shed our winter ways and embrace new experiences to enliven us, body and soul.

My first experience with a pinhole camera came late in life. In May of 2012, my photographer husband designed the rectangular pinhole camera you see on the left.

In the past, as today, turquoise represents origins and belonging, protection and health, abundance and beauty.

My mother endowed me with certain joys throughout my youth: a love of the outdoors-crisp cool Spring days in the Southern Idaho mountains, evenings of spontaneous fondue and campy horror films, and a rich collection of music records.
