The Inn of the Governors has been celebrating all year with our 50th anniversary package that benefits not only travelers to our beautiful city, Santa Fe, but also local non-profits each quarter.
We couldn’t be more pleased that with the help of our wonderful guests, we have raised $4.500.00 for a new artist at the International Folk Art Market, this past quarter. We met with the team at the International Folk Art Alliance to share the good news and present them with a check. Don't you just love all the colors represented in this photograph!?!
IFAA is an amazing nonprofit on a mission to celebrate and preserve living folk art traditions and create economic opportunities for and with folk artists worldwide. Each year more visitors have been drawn to Museum Hill to participate in the Folk Art Market. From a local tradition to the global stage, from limited resources to economic empowerment and sustainable income, the work of art is represented here through Market artists.
It’s never too soon to RESERVE your accommodations for next year’s event which will be taking place July 8, 9 and 10. We hope to see you for this very special annual event.
As we end this year with the final quarter of our 50th anniversary package, you too may participate by staying at certain times for four evenings with a 4th night at just $50, plus tax. (Call us directly at 800-234-4534 so that we can check availability for the package.) Your $50 will be donated to Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families. The last available day is December 18th, so that we can be sure to make the donation just prior to the holiday season.
